The logistical challenge
Gloves of various sizes and types were stored in traditional pallet racks, leading to inefficient use of space and loss of time in order picking. Pickers had to open, stack and close boxes, which slowed down the process.
Vanas's solution
Vanas implemented Storeganizers in the existing pallet racks. These compact storage modules provide a higher stock density and a clear layout by product type.
Because products are removed from boxes in advance and stored clearly, order pickers can work faster and error-free. The implementation did not require any major changes to the warehouse or the work rhythm.
